No complains at all with the hotel. Grand cafe klunder is short way from the venue. Nice base for weekend in Alkmaar.

Located in an excellent position with a short walk in to the centre, very good facilities with frendly staff. I would recommend this hotel for a short break or a business stay. A large selection of different foods were available for breakfast catering for everyone taste. Also the chef would cook to order if you wanted some thing different. Excellent value for money !!

Convenient for the station and just a short walk to the centre of the towm. Large room with seating arear; bath aswell as a shower. Breakfast has a reasonable choice. No evening meals but plenty of places within walking distance. Very small bar. Staff very friendly - all speak English

We liked the friendly and helpful staff, large room, efficient room cleaning service, good breakfast choice, late breakfast at weekend, reasonable hotel price (good deal via Booked.net for 5 days), close proximity to the town and station.
We did not like tha fact that breakfast items were removed at exactly 10 o'clock during the week days. If you arrived after 9:30 it was a rush to complete breakfast. Although most hotels will not serve you after 'closing time', they will leave the breakfast items out for longer to allow people to finish their breakfast without having to rush it.

A modern hotel close to the centre of Alkmaar. Good location for myself. Very welcoming - with secure car parking.

The staff were always helpful and polite and friendly.The room was well appointed and bright. The beds were very comfortable, if a little soft for my personal taste. My wife thought her bed was fine. The breakfast was good. There was a choice of warm and cold food, with an extremely broad range of breads, yoghurts, fruit, croissants etc. Coffee from the machine was surprisingly good. Overall, with its position opposite the canal and just outside the old town, it was a first rate choice.
The mirror in the lift was cracked.

I liked everything. The location was ideal as we travelled in by train and it was only a short walk from the station. The staff were wonderful, the rooms a very good size and we had ones which overlooked the canal which was beautiful. The buffet breakfast was great - enough of everything. Alkmaar is a quaint Dutch town and a pleasure to visit.
The street out front along the canal was a little noisy.

The location - outside the old city but close enough to walk everywhere. Close to train station and true value for money

The staff were extrely polite and helpfull. Not speaking Dutch was not a problem as their understanding of English was good. Unfortunately I was visiting a sick relative who ultimately died and when they heard the staff were very sympathetic. I have pre booked the Hotel for my return to attend the funeral.
